Salary: $378,062- $512,000 per year 

Education:After completing a 4-year bachelors degree program in biology, pre-medicine or a related field aspiring orthopedic surgeons must complete four more years of medical school, followed by a 4 to 5 year orthopedic surgery residency in a hospital

Duties and Responsibilities: Perform Surgery and related procedures on the hard and soft tissues of the oral and maxillofacial regions to treat diseases, injuries, or defects. May diagnose problems of the oral and maxillofacial regions. May perform surgery to improve function or appearance  

Salary:$232,870 in 2016

Education: Four years of undergrad work, four years of dental school, and four to six years of residency.
