Valentine's Day
Valentine's day is a time to celebrate love, romance, and kissy-face fealty. But the origins of this festival of candy and cupids are dark, bloody, and a little muddled. This day started when Emperor Claudius ll executed two men both named Valentine on February 14 of different years in the third century by combining St. Valentine's Day with Lupercalia to expel the pagan rituals. People celebrate Valentines Day with arranging a romantic meal in a restaurant with their loved one.
